We offer one off treatments as well as longer term ongoing bookings to suit your circumstances. We provide customised treatment plans to help you manage or overcome conditions.

Our therapists have years of experience and our team includes specialists in the fields of
care for older people, respiratory, neurology and musculoskeletal.

Booking an appointment is simple, easy and straightforward and can be done online. We also take referrals from medical consultants, GPs and other health practitioners.

We offer appointments at times to suit you and do not have waiting lists. Our costs are fixed, there are no hidden extras.

How it works

Step 1: Booking Your Appointment

Use our website to make an appointment online at a time and date to suit your requirements.

Step 2: Initial Treatment Plan

During your initial appointment your therapist will try to understand your condition, how it affects your life and what assistance you need.

Step 3: Customised Treatment Plan

Together, you and your therapist will come up with a treatment plan that is specifically catered to your needs. Exercises and physical therapy may be a part of this. Your therapist will also determine any further assistance you might need, such as extra equipment.

Step 4: Ongoing Support

At follow up appointments your therapist will monitor progress and provide additional support as and when required until your needs as a patient have been met.

Step 1: Joining Consultant at Home

If you are a licensed therapist who is registered with the
HCPC or a recognised governing body you can apply to join Consultant
at Home.

Step 2: Accessing our Platform

Upon joining you will gain access to the business software so you can gather patient referrals in your area. After enrolling you can choose any referral that fits your skill set. We want to provide you with complete flexibility regarding scheduling and location.

Step 3: Confirm and Begin

Confirm the reservation and start the patient’s therapy.

Sessions cost £95 

Online payments can be made with debit or credit cards. Before your meeting we must receive payment to confirm the booking.
A 60-minute treatment session will be included in your initial examination. The length of subsequent appointments will not exceed 60 minutes.

Your reasons for getting in touch
with Consultant at Home will be discussed with your therapist.

In order for the therapist to take the appropriate measures, you will be asked about your medical history and any medications you are currently taking. The therapist will do an evaluation looking at your condition related biomechanics, balance, posture, strength, range of motion, sensibility, reflexes, and associated specific testing. They will work with you to develop a tailored intervention program that will address your needs.

This depends on your individual circumstances. Your needs will be evaluated at your first appointment and your therapist will go over a treatment plan with you. The length of treatment will be determined by your financial situation, physical health, presenting symptoms and personal objectives.
No, you can make an appointment without a GP recommendation.
Unfortunately we do not accept medical insurance patients.

Consultant at Home.

Consultants pay an annual membership fee to be part of
Consultant at Home.

The decision is yours. Every referral that is uploaded to the network will be handled and distributed in that order. The network gives therapists freedom and makes it possible for them to keep a healthy work-life balance.
A typical appointment lasts 45 to 60 minutes. As a result you will have enough time to conduct a complete evaluation and establish a connection with the patient without feeling pressured.

Consultants are required to adhere to an Acceptable Use Policy
and Consultant Terms and Conditions.

As we get older we start to lose strength, mobility and flexibility. However, with intervention it is possible to protect and improve quality of life and maintain independence.

We will work with you to improve your mobility, balance and confidence to enable you to move around the home, carry out day to day activities indoors and outdoors and reduce the risk of falls.

We will assess your balance, co-ordination, mobility, movement and strength to find out where you most need help.

Treatment can include:

  • Exercises to help improve strength, range of motion and balance.
  • Soft tissue massage to help with painful muscle spasm or tension.
  • Joint mobilisation to help free up joint stiffness.
  • Advice on equipment such as walking aids that may help make moving around the home safer and easier.

We visit our patients in the comfort of their own home or care facility making access to care easier.

Respiratory conditions can have a significant impact on independence, on carrying out everyday tasks and the ability to undertake exercise.

Consultants who specialise in the field of cardiorespiratory therapy aim to help those affected by acute and chronic breathing problems. Typically, patients experience shortness of breath, difficulty clearing secretions, coughs and fatigue.

Some of the respirating conditions we treat include:

Neurotherapy is a specialist branch of treatment dedicated to enhancing a patient’s level of function following diagnosis of a neurological condition.

Any neurological condition that affects movement, strength, tone, balance or co-ordination can be treated by therapists.
